Francisco Aguirre was born and raised in Guanaceví, Dgo., Mexico. He has lived in the United States since 1994 and has spent time working in various industries, including owning his own business for 10 years, first as a lawn care provider and then as a caterer. For a time, Francisco was undocumented but is now a Legal Permanent Resident and working on obtaining his citizenship. He is currently working as an installer for 360° Office Solutions in Billings.
Amy Aguirre was born and raised in Billings, MT and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of St. Mary. Amy has spent her career working with non-profit organizations as a home visitor for at-risk families, as Director of Religious Education , and has been working as Assistant Director at Angela’s Piazza: Women’s Drop-In Center in Billings since 2010. Amy has been working with staff at Montana Organizing Project on immigration reform and continues, with committed support from her family, to raise awareness and support within the Billings Community.
Francisco and Amy married in 2000, and have been blessed with five incredible children.
